   Wow..that's pretty wild.
   I visited all the blogs in the ring...what a cool thing this is. Great idea. I'm pretty new to Yuku so still learning how to do stuff but it's a cool place.

The blog ring is very new and it's taking a lot to get people interesting in blogging on here as Yuku is really known for the message boards. But more and more people are finding out how much fun the blogs can be. Then it's a matter of finding those people and getting them to join the ring. 12/12/08

   What a cool story. I love it and could see all kinds of miniature scenes popping into my head as I read along. I've never heard of the prepaid meters for gas, going to have to look that up on the net. When I get caught up, I'll come read again and possibly make a mini like one that came to mind while reading this wonderful story.

   Reply from Sandy: I'm so pleased you found that post interesting. I love writing up my memories as I think of them. Perhaps there have never been prepaid meters in the U.S. Prepaid meters are still used now but instead of cash one now has a plastice card that you take to any shop that accepts them. The shop then takes the cash and adds the amount to the card. Then the card is put in the meter which will then be read and the money added. A bit like an ATM in reverse, lol. 12/12/08
